link—¹ A topological connection between two nodes (SDTS).  A link may be directed by ordering its nodes. ² A unit of linear measure, one hundredth of a chain and equivalent to 7.92 inches.  See also chain (2). ³ In leveling, a line, a part of a line, or a combination piece of leveling directly from one junction bench mark to another junction bench mark without passing through or over any other junction bench marks.
