Welcome to LearnCST.com, developed and operated by Spatial Media LLC since 2014. The following Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our subscription-based learning services, including courses, content, and related materials (collectively, the “Services”). By subscribing, accessing, or using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to utilize or subscribe to www.learnCST.com.
• By subscribing, you represent and warrant that you and/or the members of your group meet this requirement.
• Occasional waiver of our age requirement is available to certain K-12 schools and guided learning groups provided written permission is provided by a LearnCST instructor or Spatial Media executive. Please contact us in the event this waiver is relevant to you or your group.

2. Accounts

• To use the Services, you must create an account and do your best to maintain accurate, complete, and current account information. In the event you’re registered or subscribed under a group account, we request that you update your group administrator of any changes or updates to your information so they can notify us promptly.
• Ultimately, individual users are responsible for all activity under their account.
• Aside from group administrators, sharing individual login credentials with others is prohibited.

3. Subscription Plans & Access

• Access to courses and materials are provided on an individual or group subscription basis.
• Subscription details, including pricing, duration, and renewal terms, are displayed at the time of purchase. In the case of group accounts, this information is relayed to group administrators.
• An active subscription is required to access premium course materials, certification tracking, and other site features.
• We reserve the right to modify subscription offerings and content availability at our discretion.

4. Billing & Payment

• To start a subscription, you must purchase annual access as an individual or via group administrator. Free “Basic Access” account tiers are available but subject to the same Terms outlined herein.
• Fees are billed per annum in advance and non-refundable after more than 7 days of initial site access or 7 days of account creation in the case of group accounts.

5. Renewal & Cancellation

• All subscription renewals are discretionary and subject to user and/or group administrator approval upon close of the initial subscription period. Please note that no refunds or credits are provided for partial billing periods or unused content, except where required by law.

6. Intellectual Property

• All course materials, text, graphics, videos, and other content are owned by or licensed to Spatial Media LLC.
• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the Services for personal, educational purposes during your active subscription.
• You may not reproduce, distribute, or share content, including live recordings, outside of the platform without our written consent.

7. Certification & Continuing Education Credits

• Some courses may provide certificates of completion or other credit(s).
• Recognition of such credit(s) depends on third-party licensing bodies, and we do not guarantee acceptance unless explicitly stated.
• It is your responsibility to confirm any relevant credit eligibility before enrolling.
• The Certified Survey Technician (“CST”) program, indicia and final exam are wholly controlled by the National Society of Professional Surveyors (“NSPS”). While we support the process, final exam set-up and fulfillment must be arranged directly with NSPS. For more information, see our exam application process overview.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Copy, resell, or share course content without written authorization from Spatial Media LLC.
• Circumvent or disable security features.
• Utilize the Services in a manner that disrupts or harms others.

9. Disclaimers

• Services are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind.
• While we do everything in our power to support individual site registrants and groups, we do not guarantee that subscription access or site usage will result in certification, licensure, or professional advancement as this is ultimately up to the individual.
• Availability of courses and features may change without notice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Spatial Media LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Services or subscription.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or fail to pay subscription fees. Upon termination, your right to access paid content will end immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. If material changes are made, we will notify you (e.g., by email or interior site notice). Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
